Enough already!

It's time for the Judge in the Zaccarious Moussaoui trial to take back control of the courtroom.

Make no mistake about it. The Judge is not currently in control now.

Instead, the action in what may be the most important terrorism trial so far in the War on Terror is being controlled by Osama Bin Laden, through his proxy Moussaoui.

If Moussaoui were a Caucasian American, there is no doubt that his courtroom shenanigans would have been brought to a screeching halt weeks ago.

But the Muslim Moussaoui represents the new protected class in America, and in our zeal to prove that we are indeed a tolerant, democratic nation, where all are treated equally, we are overcompensating to the point of appeasement.

The facts are indisputable. Moussaoui hates Americans. He wants to kill Americans. If he is set free then he would do his best to kill Americans. He's told us in his own words.

But how many times are we going to let him tell us this? How long is the prosecutor going to let Moussaoui continue to sell his bill of goods to us in his morbid, perverted, PT Barnumesque fashion?

When Moussaoui came to America, he came with two goals: to kill Americans in the name of Allah, and to die a martyr in the process.

Zaccarious Moussaoui failed miserably. His colleagues succeeded in killing over 3,000 people on September 11, 2001. But Moussaoui failed. He got caught. He showed his incompetence.

Let's quit coddling him.

In the world of jihad he would have been shamed by his peers, and possibly executed for his failure.

Right now, the US judicial system is giving Moussaoui a second chance to redeem himself in the eyes of his murdering colleagues.

Moussaoui is playing out a script that was crafted by his master, Osama Bin Laden, long before he ever left Afghanistan. He's now working on Plan B.

Plan B needs to be neutralized.

It's time for the Judge to close the courtroom, and to remove Moussaoui's microphone to the jihadis of the world, who are taking great pleasure in watching Moussaoui manipulate and make a mockery of the US Judicial System.

It's time for the US Government to show Moussaoui for what he is - a miserable failure, a sorry excuse for a Muslim, and a mentally ill criminal who needs to be locked up for the rest of his life.

The government shouldn't get any flack for this; after all, Moussaoui has freely confessed in open court his desire and intention to murder Americans. The Muslim "mainstream", the moderate representatives of Islam, have told us over and over again that Islam is a Religion of Peace. Even they must agree that Moussaoui is a sorry excuse for a Muslim.

The Prosecutor should tell Moussaoui this. He should tell him he is a lousy excuse for a Muslim, that he has shamed the Islamic Ummah. Then he should withdraw the death penalty, and ask for life imprisonment in solitary confinement with no possibility of parole or the prisoner exchange the Moussaoui's delusions think is possible. Moussaoui should be denied his last chance at martyrdom. He should be denied any ability to da'awa, or preach his perverted brand of Islam.

We must overcome our revulsion at Moussaoui and his acts, and recognize that putting him to death will simply help him advance his own goals.

Make no mistake about it. Moussaoui deserves to die for his crimes. But he does not deserve the martyr status that execution would give him. Left alone to rot in prison, he will soon be forgotten by the youthful jihadis. Put to death at the hands of the "infidels", he will become a hero, and his actions will be celebrated and duplicated.

Over 3,000 died on September 11, 2001. Don't give one of those responsible for their deaths what he wants. Don't let him win.

Instead, show the world what Moussaoui is: a pathetic excuse for a Muslim and a sorry example of a human being, who is not fit to be around other humans.
